Why this plebiscite?
Later this semester, there will be a Special Referendum with proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Students’ Society of McGill University (S.S.M.U.). This plebiscite seeks feedback on the proposed amendments. Please see them linked .

What’s on the ballot?
Q1. Which body should serve as the Society’s highest governing authority? (Board of Directors, Legislative Council, Executive Committee)
Q2. What do you believe should be the quorum for a Student Strike? (Ranked preference – 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 15%)
Q3. Open feedback on constitutional reform

Why should you vote?
The Constitution is the foundation of the É«½ç°É and now’s your chance to have a say on governance processes of your student union.
