The ɫ 2024 Winter General Assembly (GA) will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM EST, IN-PERSON, in the ɫ Ballroom (Room 301, 3480 rue McTavish).
The GA is a time when you can make a direct change at ɫ! Members of the ɫ participate in direct democracy by writing and voting on motions that mandate the Students’ Society of McGill University (ɫ) to take specific action! Quorum for decisions to be made and approved is 350 ɫ Members!

In-person attendance is encouraged, but a hybrid option will be available for any students willing to join online.

MOTIONS
The simplest way of having motions added to the agenda is to submit them by email to speaker@ssmu.ca. Please submit by the end of the day on January 29th.

Alternatively, the ɫ Governance team will host open sessions for those interested to attend! The sign up link can be found .

ACCESSIBILITY
The University Centre is wheelchair accessible, including automatic doors, bathrooms, and elevators. There are gender-neutral bathrooms located on the 2nd and 4th floors. Whisper translation between English and French will be available.
