In consultation with the McGill Community Council (MCC), ɫ wishes to bring to your attention that there are two avenues you can use to report any Improper Activities within the University.
One, you can use the internal University Policy on Safe Disclosure (“Whistle Blowing”). This mandate for students is placed within the Office of the Ombudsperson for Students, which offers confidential, informal, independent, and impartial services to all members of the student community.
Or, two, considering the sensitivity and critical nature of many disclosures, you may prefer to report Improper Activities externally, to the Office of the Public Protector of Quebec. Reporting via the Office of the Public Protector also is a university endorsed procedure.
