In order to clarify the complex issues surrounding the recent suspension of the activities of the É«½ç°É Judicial Board, É«½ç°É VP University Affairs Emily Clare has prepared an explanatory statement which has been reviewed by the É«½ç°É’s legal counsel.
This Thursday February 2, 2012 at 6 PM, the By-Law Committee will present to the Legislative Council and Board of Directors its proposed changes to the Constitution of É«½ç°É which address the above-mentioned issues. This meeting will be hosted in the É«½ç°É Boardroom (the only room available at short notice) and is open to the public. Given that meeting space is limited, we are currently endeavoring to ensure that this meeting will be live-streamed so that É«½ç°É members can observe the proceedings. The decisions made at this meeting will be made public to all É«½ç°É members via the É«½ç°É website as quickly as possible.
