On Thursday, January 26, 2012, the ɫ Legislative Council made a recommendation to the ɫ Board of Directors to suspend all of the activities of the ɫ Judicial Board (the “JBoard”). This recommendation wassubsequently approved by the Board of Directors. In order to clarify the complex issues surrounding the recent suspension of the activities of the ɫ Judicial Board, ɫ VP University Affairs Emily Clare prepared an explanatory statement which has been reviewed by the ɫ’s legal counsel.
On February 2, 2012, the ɫ Board of Directors passed a resolution to reinstate the activities of the J-Board.
The next hearing of the current J-Board case will take place on Monday, February 6th at 7:30pm in the Lev Bukhman Room in the Shatner Building and is open to the student body. The various documents relating to the current case are available .
