Your student union conducts much of its work and hashes out many of its decisions through its many committees—and you can be part of the process! The É«½ç°É is currently seeking members at large for the following committees:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Funding Committee (which allocates funding to different campus groups and initiatives)
–         Finance Committee (which oversees the creation of É«½ç°É’s budget)
–         Financial Ethics Research Committee (which is responsible for reviewing the É«½ç°É’s financial ethics and this year will be working on Ethical Purchasing and Ethical Investment policies)
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â External Affairs Committee (which works with the VP External on mobilization, lobbying, and policy development)
–         Operations Management Committee (which oversees decisions about É«½ç°É’s operations, e.g. Gerts Bar)
–         Interest Group Committee (which evaluates É«½ç°É club applications, reviews changes to clubs’ Constitutions, and addresses other issues relevant to É«½ç°É groups)
–         Students’ Society Programming Network (SSPN) (which works with the VP Internal to plan É«½ç°É’s large events, including Four Floors, Faculty Olympics, and É«½ç°É Awards)
